Behalt & the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center
- Behalt is a 10′ x 265′ cyclorama illustrating the heritage of the Amish and Mennonite
people from the Anabaptist beginning in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1525 to the present day.
Clark Gable Foundation & Birthplace
- Visit this enchanting reconstructed birthplace of the “King of Hollywood.” A great
souvenir shop is also on site
Dennison Railroad Depot Museum
- The small towns of Dennison and Uhrichsville served over 1.5 million soldiers
during W.W.II. The community became so popular among the soldiers that it was
called Dreamsville, USA. Visit this beautifully restored Museum today and feel
what the G.I.’s felt during the war.
J.E. Reeves Victorian Home & Museum
- A beautifully restored turn-of-the-century mansion with original furnishings, and
adjoining carriage house museum with gift shop. This former residence
of prominent Dover industrialist, Jeremiah E. Reeves, is owned by the Dover Historical Society.
National First Ladies Historic Site & Library- Visit the restored Saxton-McKinley Victorian home in Canton, Ohio. This facility is the first
of its kind dedicated to documenting the lives and accomplishments of America’s 41 first ladies and other
important American women in history. Located at 33l Market Avenue South, Canton, approximately 20
miles from the hotel.
Pro Football Hall of Fame

Victoriana and Holmes County history.
Warther Carvings & Gardens
- This museum showcases the carvings of the “World’s Master Carver,” Ernest (Mooney)
Warther. Also featured are Mrs. Warther’s button collection and a five acre park with Swiss
floral gardens.
William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum
- This wonderful museum focuses on the history of Stark County, including that of the
25th President of the United States, William McKinley. It includes the memorial,
a research library, Discover World Science Center, a planetarium and museum shoppe.
